No Services on Wednesday, January 28, 2026
Good evening,
All services for Wednesday, January 28th are cancelled. We look forward to being together on Sunday, February 1st. Our members' meeting is rescheduled for 6pm on Sunday, February 1st. As originally planned, we will vote on our new deacon candidates at this meeting.

No Services on Sunday Jan. 25, 2026
Church family,
We have been asked by Emergency Services to serve as a shelter for the city during this winter storm that is headed our way. Because of this, and the great likelihood of inclement weather, I am going to go ahead and cancel our services for Sunday. As for now, please do not advertise the fact that we will be open as a shelter. We need to get some more details in place before we are ready for that. I will have more information coming out around noon as to how you might be able to serve at the shelter. Stay tuned for ways to show the love of God!

Shelter Update - (updated 3pm Friday)
Okay gang,
We will be running a shelter over the weekend and into the first of the week if needed. We will be providing a warm place and a cot for emergency situations. We are working in conjunction with Emergency Services and the National Guard. Many churches have already brought food, so we have enough to get us through the weekend. What we need right now is for a minimum of two people to be here during the day to help with intake registration and serving the meals. For overnight we would like to have at least one male stay through the night. We are currently working on having local law enforcement to be present as well.
We would like to set up our day shifts into four hour shifts starting at noon tomorrow.
I know this is asking a lot from you, and I care about your safety. If you would like to sign up for a shift please reply to this email or text Bro. Clif (501-519-0748) with the time slot you prefer.
Saturday:
12pm—4pm
4pm—8pm
8pm—12am (at least one male)
12am - 5am (at least one male)
5am - 8am (at least one male)
Sunday
8am—12pm
12pm—4pm
4pm—8pm
8pm—12am (at least one male)
12am - 5am (at least one male)
5am - 8am (at least one male)
(if you want to take a full 12 hour overnight (8pm-8am) shift please let us know)

If anyone would like to bring board games, jigsaw puzzles, corn hole, etc., it would be appreciated.

Saturday Update (10:45am)
Church family, we have made a decision to be a warming center from 12pm-7pm, for the time being. We will assess the needs of the county as the day progresses. Right now, we have people assigned for today, and if you have signed up to work a night shift, please remain “on call” and ready to hear from Adam Pinner. You guys have been great to respond. Thank you so much.
